1. Beyonce’s Grammy Performance
Beyonce may not have beat Adele for album of the year, but she certainly made it first to the finish line when it comes to delivering a killer Grammy performance. Her performance centered around the concept of “motherhood,” and she was appropriately introduced by her mom, Tina Knowles. In true, Beyonce fashion it was iconic. Catch the full performance below:

2. Lady Gaga and Metallica
Now listen, put the technical difficulties aside, Lady Gaga and Metallica joined forces and lit the Grammy stage up! It was great to see Metal music getting some love and recognition.
3. Chance The Rapper wins Best New Artist
This for me is well-deserved, not just for his music but for who he is as a person and the positivity he pushes out into the world. He dedicated his win to God (“I claim this victory in the name of the Lord”) and closed the show with an insane Gospel medley ft Tamela Mann and Kirk Franklin. He’s the first black rapper to win Best New Artist since Lauryn Hill in 1999.

4. Adele went off!
Technical difficulties were the order of the show and Adele sadly fell victim. In true Brit form she called it out and carried on.
5. Blue Ivy
In full support of her Mom, Blue Ivy is making her mark and getting her camera time!
