Last month Nike debuted the “SneakerBoots,” heavily-winterized versions of classic sneakers done up in a series of mid- and high-tops. The early standout was the Air Max 90 Mid, with its speckled sole, Hyperfuse no-sew upper, and neoprene collar. Now that the shoes have dropped in stores, we were hit with another surprise, a simple black and white colorway that really highlights the design aspects.
The HyperFuse upper looks awesome with the contrasting mesh panels, while the black-and-white speckled sole adds a subtle contrast to the otherwise-solid sneaker. Besides jeans and chinos, I could see these versatile kicks going with cuffed wool trousers, too.
