I know, i know, i have not been updating as regularly but trust me, i have been so busy. Busy with cool stuff like the Ford Fusion launch i just recently did. The launch took me a few months to get together and it was hard work from start to finish. I also spent two months doing the pre-launch campaign called #FusionStandOut, a full 360′ Digital campaign that included, YouTube mastheads, engagement ads and heavy social media promotion on the new smart features that the Ford Fusion has. The campaign has been working well with increasing brand awareness as well as positioning the Ford Fusion as a flagship vehicle with endless Tech.
So back to the launch. I had my events hat on did my thing! It went off really well, no big issues and overall positive reception from all media in attendance. The hashtag for the launch was #FordFusionLaunch, a little long i know but it worked in terms of letting South Africa know that Ford Fusion is here and it’s the launch. A promoted trend of the hashtag backed up by good content and live tweets from media from the launch made for a great Social Media day for me and for Ford.
